Maya Bennett is NXT Giving’s Director of Grant Strategy, overseeing the development, review, and quality of grant proposals across the firm’s nonprofit portfolio. She brings extensive experience in institutional fundraising and has worked with mission-driven organizations to develop compelling cases for support, strengthen grant strategies, and pursue funding from private foundations, family foundations, corporations, and public-sector funders.
Maya combines strong writing with a strategic understanding of how funders evaluate organizations, programs, budgets, and measurable outcomes. She works closely with NXT Giving’s consultants, analysts, and grant writers to ensure that every proposal is grounded in strong funder alignment, clear positioning, and a persuasive articulation of organizational impact.
In addition to leading complex applications, Maya provides senior-level review and quality assurance across NXT Giving’s grant portfolio, helping ensure that proposals are accurate, competitive, and tailored to the priorities of each prospective funder.
